Box 1063 Chico, CA The Snow Goose Festival in Chico will again celebrate the arrival of thousands of waterfowl that come from the north to spend their winters in our temperate North Valley climate. Snow Geese, Tundra Swans, Sandhill Cranes, Pintail Ducks and many more, fill the rice fields and wildlife refuges throughout the area. This year's Snow Goose Festival has planned more that 50 field trips and workshops to show off this season of wildlife abundance and offers many free events and activities for the whole family.
