Oinktoberfest BBQ Cookoff

Saturday's competition is Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned. Teams will be judged and scored according to KCBS guidelines and rules. Food categories include: chicken, pork ribs, pork butt/shoulder, beef brisket. Additional categories are any side dish and dessert. Sunday's events include both the Outdoor Cooking Contest and the Chili Cookoff. The Outdoor Cooking Contest allows it all, as long as it is happens outdoors: grilling, smoking, frying, baking, steaming, braising, using whatever fuel source you want. Categories are chicken wings, sausage, any pork except ribs, any side dish and dessert.
