Taste of Scotland FestivalFri, Jun 17th, 2011 to Sun, Jun 19th, 201186 E Main Street Franklin, NC Our Scottish Festival begins on Friday June 18th with a Ceilidh that is FREE. Ceilidhs have lots of celtic music, food and kilts! Saturday begins our day long street festival which includes a parade of tartans, a crowning of Little Miss Tartan, Entertainment throughout the day in several locations, Scottish food, clans and vendors, border collie demonstrations, childrne's activities, symposiums, and lots more. A Ceilidh will be held on Saturday night following the festival. A Kirkin o The Tartan will be held at the Presbyterian Church at 11:00 am on Sunday June 20th. Family day at The Scottish Tartans Museum will begin at 1:30 with FREE ince cream, FREE tours, and music and border collie demonstrations.
