49er FestivalSat, Sep 17th, 2011P.O. Box 1263 Groveland, CA The Yosemite Chamber of Commerce plays host to the biggest event of the year here in Groveland, the Annual 49er Festival and Chili Cookoff. We start the day with a hearty pancake breakfast hosted by the Rebeccas, followed by an antique airplane flyover and then the parade down Main Street. From there we move to Mary Laveroni Community park with music all day, vendor booths, kids activities, beer, wine and our nearly world famous Chili-Cookoff. Held each year on the 3rd Saturday of September.
