The Big Shanty Festival

The entire downtown area will be jam packed with people enjoying the best of today's fun-filled activities while at the same time enjoying the rich heritage of Kennesaw and the Civil War era. The Kennesaw/Big Shanty Festival is host to one of the largest Arts & Crafts Shows in North Georgia. Visitors and residents alike will be able to browse through over 200 booths of the Southeast's finest artisans featuring a wide variety of beautiful and unusual items.
