Lowell Folk Festival

The annual Lowell Folk Festival offers audiences the chance to travel around the world while in the historic district of downtown Lowell. Extraordinary musicians perform a wide variety of traditional music from around the globe, and all speak the language of music. And then there’s the food! Festival goers are tempted by a full banquet of Lowell’s many ethnic flavors; feasts of taste, aroma and color, prepared by volunteers from local ethnic communities. Typically, at least 12 different cultures feed body and soul during the July festival weekend.
