West Virginia Gospel Singing ConventionWed, Jun 1st, 2011 to Fri, Sep 30th, 2011Song Road Mount Nebo, WV The WV State Gospel Singing Convention is held annually in the months of June, July, and September in Mount Nebo, West Virginia. Mt. Nebo is located approximately 2 miles east of the intersection of US-19 and WV-129, just south of Summersville, West Virginia. The Convention preserves the traditions of old-time gospel camp meetings and fellowship of God's people. These gospel sings are among the oldest and largest non-profit sings held in the U.S.A. For over 50 years, gospel singers and gospel enthusiasts have gathered in the foothills of Mt. Nebo, ("Almost Heaven") West Virginia to celebrate their love for God Almighty and the wonderful gospel music He has blessed us with. Special Invitational Sing 9-11.
