International Forest Storytelling Festival

All attendees, local residents as well as visitors, are welcome to share a story, poem, or even a song just for the fun of it, or to improve storytelling techniques. Many people come only to listen, and they represent a very important aspect of this event that is open to the general public and offered at no cost. For those interested in further development as tellers, the Guild offers periodic workshops that are led by experienced professional tellers. Members volunteer regularly in area schools, promoting literacy through storytelling.
