Provincetown Jazz FestivalFri, Aug 12th, 2011 to Mon, Aug 15th, 2011501 Commercial Street #2c Provincetown, MA All concerts will be held at the Provincetown High School one block from Town Hall with parking behind the school. For 2010, the festival will celebrate the survival and revival of New Orleans Jazz as we commemorate the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. The festival will also feature a faculty trio (piano, bass and drums) from the Berklee School of Music and they will accompany two students on sax & trumpet as we kick off the Berklee Rising Stars segment, new to the festival. Also appearing at the festival will be Greg Abate, Dane Vannatter, Janice Friedman, Steve Ahern, and many more.
