Loon & Fish Festival

The Loon & Fish Festival coincides with the nesting of Loons on the lakes in the Seeley-Swan Valley, and there are guided tours given by Forest Service personnel. The two day festival is a wonderful opportunity to buy art work by local artisans and see demonstrations of various crafts. A celebration of the art and wildlife of the Seeley-Swan Valley, the festival includes guided nature walks that explore loon and other animal habitat, children's activities, local arts and crafts for sale and demonstrations by local artisans. Sponsored by Alpine Artisans in collaboration with the US Forest Service and the Montana Watchable Wildlife program.
